This is a large update with many of the changes still behind the scenes! But many exciting things coming soon.
T5 Spell Quest
This quest is partially finished, the full details will be revealed this weekend when the quest is fully finished, but here are some details that will let you get started on the quest before its finished.
The goal of the quest will be to get Charge of Fire, Charge of Earth, Charge of Water and Charge of Winds. Some good news is the Charge of Water will be delivered to all T5 characters and when new characters become T5 they will get one as well. This is what the Charged Destiny becomes when you tier up.
The other Charges will need to be made. It starts out obtaining Conduction Stones from the dragons. Each element (besides Water) drops its conductive stone from its perspective dragon or dragon minion, with epic dragons and minions having higher drop rates.
After obtaining this stone you will use other dragon related mats and talk to a new npc to refine the stones into new High Density stones for each corresponding element.
You will be able to convert your Water HDES charges to raw energy via Nidrah. He converts 100 water charges into a battery that gives 100 charges to your other HDES elements.
The goal will be to get these other 3 stones to have 1000 charges and use those charges to obtain the perspective quest items from the new npc.
This may sound confusing but it is pretty simple and will make much more sense when you read the npc’s messages and go to make them in game.
New T5 Spell Quest Items
Nidrah’s Energy Battery: This holds 100 charges and when used will transfer them to whichever HDES stone you have equipped. It requires you to be T5 to use this item.
Charge of Fire: This item is obtained by exchanging 1000 charges from the HighDensity Fire Stone and is one part of the 4 parts required to obtain a T5 spell.
Charge of Earth: This item is obtained by exchanging 1000 charges from the HighDensity Earth Stone and is one part of the 4 parts required to obtain a T5 spell.
Charge of Wind: This item is obtained by exchanging 1000 charges from the HighDensity Wind Stone and is one part of the 4 parts required to obtain a T5 spell.
Charge of Water: This item is obtained when you go T5 or by exchanging 1000 charges from the HighDensity Water Stone and is one part of the 4 parts required to obtain a T5 spell.
High Density Fire Stone: This item is crafted by refining a Conductive Fire Stone with valakas mats and some other existing items. It is equipable in the rune/battery slot.
High Density Earth Stone: This item is crafted by refining a Conductive Earth Stone with antharas mats and some other existing items. It is equipable in the rune/battery slot.
High Density Wind Stone: This item is crafted by refining a Conductive Wind Stone with Lindvior mats and some other existing items. It is equipable in the rune/battery slot.
Conductive Fire Stone: This item drops from Valakas and it’s minions. It is able to be refined into a HDES.
Conductive Earth Stone: This item drops from Antharas and it’s minions. It is able to be refined into a HDES.
Conductive Wind Stone: This item drops from Lindvior and it’s minions. It is able to be refined into a HDES.
Epic Anthars has been made epic. He also now drops all x enchants and the new conductive stone.
The spawn count for dragons has been changed from 100 to 50-100 spawns.
Epic minions now have a chance to be a random tier maxing out at T5.
All minions and dragons excluding Fafurion now can drop a rare T5 spell quest item as mentioned above.
New Years Items
New years brooch is put back into Ive’s shop as well as the new The Force Awakens Light Saber.
The details for the T5 spells will be revealed later this week in specific detail, most of them are working and tested, though still need balancing. You can see some videos showing them off here: T5 Spells Video Demonstrations
Major changes to the way memory for the database is handled. Should reduce if not eliminate the lag issues and bugs with logging in and not being able to see your inventory.
A bug has been fixed that should reduce the disconnects from happening, if not completely fix them.
The hard part of battlegrounds is finished. You’ll now notice that on the server select screen there is an option for battlegrounds. Using this option currently will break your hotkeys and inventory organization so it is not advised, but if you’re curious, you’re welcome to check it out.
Currently logging in on the battlegrounds server loads your character in battlegrounds mode. Battlegrounds characters are level 50 with all base stats being 1. You might notice the base stats higher, this is due to 2 things. Clan skills and a small bug where your primary weapon equipped is being saved even though you have no items equipped. Hp and Mp are base 100 as well. You’ll also notice your inventory is empty.
The point of all of this is because the battlegrounds system is an alternative dimension where all players start out at an even ground to allow competitive pvp and pve to compete in clan based competitions. There will be clan Gear that will alter your stats and make things be more like original lineage stats. As well as many different types of events.
Logging into the battlegrounds server is the same as logging into the main server as far as chatting, online counts, mail, etc. You are on your same account and are treated as a clan member of your same clan. While it is done via server select, it is indeed the same server.
This battlegrounds DM is similar to the current DM however it is with battlegrounds characters. The rewards will be greater and much more competitive considering you can fight each other as well as the monsters, also since the monsters are matching up the stats as they should be if it were live, it will make it much more difficult to last each round.
A new special pvp arena that will focus on competitive pvp with battlegrounds gear making the fights more skill based than gear. Greater rewards for the winning team.
These will be special zones designed with specific goals and things required to do for clans. Each map will be very different and require different techniques to win. These are mostly PvPvE meaning you fight each other and monsters. Some areas you may be required to kill the enemy team before you can even damage the boss. Others may require working with your enemy to break down a wall to get to the next part, just to turn on them and claim all of the glory!
This is the map everyone starts in when they login to the battlegrounds server. While it is quite empty now, it will soon be filled with npcs and shops for battlegrounds specific items and gear. Also there will be npcs that take you to the various battlegrounds events.
Battlegrounds: Mainland Aden
This will eventually be the star attraction of battlegrounds. It is an alternative dimension version of the mainlands map, however its very different. All of the castles will be up for siege, all of the time, clans can also hold more than one, or even all of these castles. Benefits of owning these castles will apply across dimensions to your regular characters as well. There will also someday be a system for controlling the towns and several other interactive elements. You’ll find also when this map is released that it is not the Aden you remember, it has many scars and other things have grown quite differently.

Many of these changes have been in the works for a very long time and some still have a bit of time left till they are finished, however the plans are to have the T5 spells and related quest finished and released this weekend.
