Smooth Shots
The new client has been causing lag issues with soul shot usage, to address this issue a new format of Soul Shots have been invented by the alchemists that live in the Tower of Insolence. Dranoc now sells these new shots for Adena on TOI floor 1.
The new shots when used give you a 10 minute buff that will cause your damage to be boosted as if you were using soul shots, without having to consume them every single attack or spell cast. The damage boost is the same and you will not consume normal soul shots regardless of them being turned on or not while you have this buff. This should prevent the lag associated with normal soul shot usage.
Unlike traditional Soul Shots and Spirit Shots, Smooth Shots do not have a grade and work with all grades equally.
[floatl][/floatl] Smooth Shot - Soul - This Smooth Shot applies the 50% damage boost of Soul Shots to all physical (ranged and melee) attacks for the 10 minute duration.
[floatl][/floatl] Smooth Shot - Spirit - This Smooth Shot applies the 50% damage boost of Spirit Shots to all magical spells for the 10 minute duration.
The Third Class (aka 2nd SubClass)
Over the past couple of years I’ve had the honor of welcoming 75 people to Tier 5 by hand delivering their Soul Key. More recently the issue has been rising that many of these T5 players have reached a limit due to reaching the caps on both their main and sub classes. To always encourage growth I decided it is time to extend this cap and allow a 2nd Sub Class.
The benefits of leveling this third class is that you’ll be able to obtain more Elixir Passes allowing you to extend your base stats further by getting more Omega Elixirs.
This third class can be any of the 8 current classes (including the alpha Warrior class). The link for the 9th class Fencer is there, but won’t work until a future update.
Quest Details
You can talk to Hermuncus located in Valhalla (-shop) and choose to Add a Class. This will allow you to create the item required to create your 3rd class. Here are the required items:
[floatl][/floatl] Enlightened Destiny - Extend your Destiny using this new charged ore crafted by bringing the many materials required to Hermuncus . This item extends your character to allow it to have a 2nd subclass aka the third class.

[floatl][/floatl] Empowered Centipede’s Carapace - This is one of the common materials required to craft Enlightened Destiny. Bring to Hermuncus in Valhalla.
[floatl][/floatl] Empowered Dire Tiger Fur - This is one of the common materials required to craft Enlightened Destiny. Bring to Hermuncus in Valhalla.

Other Recent Changes
Site Option for Low Graphics Mode added. This reduces some of the animations that happen while attacking to reduce lag.
The Dwarven Emissary has been spawned on each of the “Entrance to the Underworld” floors allowing you to finish and start the next quest on each floor without having to leave for each floor.
